Duties

• Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and punctuality
• Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper lifting practices to prevent injury during heavy lifting tasks
• Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and addressing inquiries or concerns with clear communication skills
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales revenue
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records for organizational efficiency

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or automobile transportation with a focus on safety and compliance
• Strong math skills for pricing calculations, basic accounting, and measurement tasks
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team coordination, and reporting
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper lifting techniques in accordance with safety standards
• Knowledge of retail store operations, merchandising practices, and customer relationship building strategies
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, commercial truck driving requirements, and safe driving practices
• Organizational skills to manage schedules, route planning, and documentation efficiently
• Experience in sales or upselling to promote products or services effectively

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
