About the role
Dennis Transport is seeking an experienced Local Truck Driver to join their Wingfield SA operations. The role involves local deliveries and pick-ups, operating modern heavy vehicles while providing reliable, safe and professional freight services to our customers. This casual position has the potential to become a full-time role.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload freight manually and/or using a forklift
- Operate heavy vehicles and trailers
- Complete all required freight, trip and compliance documentation accurately
- Maintain communication with dispatch and operations teams
- Deliver a high standard of customer service
- Comply with all road rules, safety regulations, and company policies
About you
- Valid Heavy Combination (HC), an unrestricted MC licence would be an advantage
- Minimum 2 years' driving experience with current licence
- Current High Risk Work Licence (LF - forklift) or willingness to obtain
- Experience across a range of freight types would be ideal: general, refrigerated and flat-top
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Good communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Have a good work ethic with attention to detail
- Flexible availability for early starts

Pay: $37.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
