Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, utilizing organizational skills to optimize time and resources.
• Load, unload, and secure merchandise with safe lifting practices, handling heavy items with care.
• Communicate effectively with clients to confirm delivery details, build positive relationships, and address any concerns professionally.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to enhance customer experience.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including route logs, delivery receipts, and inventory records.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving or automobile transportation; retail store experience is a plus.
• Strong math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and basic accounting tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements for commercial truck driving.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and handle multiple deliveries daily.
• Customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting client relationships.

Pay: $9.00 per hour
