Delivery driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles efficiently.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products using pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary.
• Follow assigned routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures upon delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Skills

• Experience with route driving and familiarity with local roads is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks on a regular basis.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $15.41 - $19.37 per hour
