Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals at multiple retail stores or client locations.
• Load and unload merchandise with proper heavy lifting techniques, ensuring product safety and integrity during transportation.
• Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, addressing questions or concerns professionally to foster strong customer relationships.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records while organizing daily schedules for optimal efficiency.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly to ensure safety and compliance.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving, especially within retail store environments or merchandise transportation.
• Familiarity with pricing strategies, merchandising, and basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory management.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe lifting practices, and heavy lifting techniques essential for handling bulky or heavy items.
• Prior experience in customer service or client relationship building is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform route driving efficiently while maintaining organizational skills for scheduling and delivery accuracy.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is a plus.

• Pass drug and background check
• Able to lift up to 150 Ibs
• Mist obtain F-Endorsement
• Dependable and ready to work
