Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including flatbed trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption
• Load, secure, and unload cargo with care, ensuring items are protected during transit
• Verify delivery details and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers
• Communicate proactively with dispatch to report progress, delays, or issues during routes
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for each trip

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience operating flatbed trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable
• Knowledge of local roads and navigation tools to plan effective routes
• Ability to lift heavy packages and handle physical demands of loading/unloading cargo
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward customer service
• Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to safety standards at all times
