Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals while optimizing fuel and time resources.
• Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques, practicing safe lifting practices for heavy items.
• Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, addressing questions or concerns professionally to foster strong customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records while ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales revenue.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving or automobile transportation, with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating large or heavy vehicles.
• Knowledge of route driving, merchandising, and retail store operations is a plus.
• Strong math skills for pricing calculations, basic accounting tasks, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safe driving practices.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous experience in retail store environments or customer service roles is advantageous.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
