Responsibilities

• Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Deliver products efficiently along designated routes, managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Assist with loading and unloading merchandise, demonstrating heavy lifting capabilities and proper handling techniques.
• Build rapport with customers through friendly communication, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction during each interaction.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including route logs, invoices, and client communication records.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer experience and increase sales revenue.
• Follow merchandising standards to ensure products are presented attractively upon delivery at retail stores or client locations.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, automobile transportation, or heavy truck operation with a clean driving record.
• Strong math skills for pricing calculations, inventory counts, and basic transaction processing.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations to ensure compliance during all driving activities.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
• Retail store experience or familiarity with merchandising enhances your ability to manage product presentation.
• Organizational skills for route planning, time management, and maintaining accurate delivery records.

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
