Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the company
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle by manual lifting
• Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner and in accordance with customer requirements
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
• Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation

Skills:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to handle heavy lifting up to 50lbs and physical demands of the job
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
• Familiarity with courier or delivery services is a plus but will receive training regardless.

Summary

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate package delivery to customers. You will rely on your personal vehicle and driving skills to transport goods, perform standard vehicle safety checks, and maintain compliance with traffic regulations. Reporting to the operations supervisor, you will provide friendly, in-person customer service, handle loading and unloading as needed, and uphold high standards of safety and reliability. Your experience in delivery driving and warehouse coordination will contribute to efficient route execution and customer satisfaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.25 - $34.87 per hour
