Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Deliver products and merchandise to retail stores, clients, or distribution centers promptly while maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
• Engage with customers professionally, providing exceptional service, answering questions, and upselling additional products or services when appropriate.
• Conduct heavy lifting and merchandising tasks, ensuring proper handling of goods with attention to safe lifting practices.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety standards are met; report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Build strong client relationships through clear communication, reliable service, and a friendly attitude that encourages repeat business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving or heavy vehicle operation; familiarity with automobile transportation is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, route coordination, and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; knowledge of safe lifting practices is essential.
• Retail store experience or merchandising background is a plus for understanding product placement and presentation.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing commercial truck driving ensures compliance with safety standards.
• Demonstrated organizational skills for route planning, time management, and record keeping.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
