Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrival at each destination while maintaining accurate delivery schedules.
• Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques, managing heavy items safely and efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, answer questions, and address any concerns professionally to foster strong customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, route logs, and vehicle inspections in compliance with organizational policies.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to enhance customer satisfaction and company revenue.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and automobile transportation.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and basic math skills for accurate billing and transaction handling.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
• Demonstrated ability in retail store experience or merchandising to understand product placement and presentation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, safety standards, and heavy vehicle operation requirements.
• Organizational skills to manage deliveries efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting client relationships.
• Experience in sales or upselling techniques to maximize business opportunities.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
