Schedule Available: 5-day work week (6-7 days are optional)

Local package delivery company under contract with FedEx Ground based in Punta Gorda, FL seeking FULL TIME pick-up and delivery in Venice FL . We have an on-going need for drivers.

• CR SIlkroad Transport works out of the Punta Gorda terminal. We deliver to South Venice FL and Venice, FL
• WEEKENDS (BOTH SAT & SUN) are MANDATORY. FedEx operates 7 days a week
• You must be in GOOD TO EXCELLENT PHYSICAL CONDITION, with NO LIMITATIONS
• Must be available to WORK between the hours of 7:30AM TO 7:30PM, SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY (We will need you to work 5 or 6 of the 7 days, new drivers work WED-SUN - start and end times vary thus the window, you are NOT working 12-hour days)
• As we deliver liquor, you must be 21 years of age to apply
• Requires a clean criminal background – FedEx goes back at least 10 years
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record – FedEx checks back for 7 year
• MUST BE ABLE TO CARRY 150 LBS UP TO THREE FLIGHTS OF STAIRS
• Commercial driving experienced desired but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with the right work ethic.

Looking for coverage 5-6 days a week, especially Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Salaried positions starting from $160/day once fully trained.

CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND CRIMINAL BACKGROUND FOR TEN YEARS REQUIRED. Drug testing on all applicants & subject to random drug testing throughout your term of employment. References required & ALL will be contacted and must confirm your employment.

• Please provide the vehicles you have experience with whether it be box trucks, straight trucks, etc. and the amount of time you have in each position you drove them in.
• The DOT license is federally governed so you must be able to pass a drug screen to be hired and will be subject to random drug screens. Medical marijuana is not allowed. Are you able to do this?
