Responsibilities

• Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles to deliver goods across designated routes.
• Manage delivery schedules by planning efficient routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines.
• Handle heavy lifting with proper techniques, ensuring safe lifting practices during loading and unloading processes.
• Communicate effectively with clients to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and build positive relationships.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and maintain vehicle safety standards.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, route logs, and client interactions for organizational purposes.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations to ensure safe and compliant operations.
• Basic math skills for calculating pricing, quantities, and measurements accurately.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Prior retail store experience or merchandising background is a plus for understanding product placement and presentation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
