Corner Office Gourmet (www.canapeteam.com) is a wholesale food manufacturer & distributor that delivers to the hotels, colleges, hospitals & institutions throughout Boston, Cambridge & New England.
Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team at Corner Office Gourmet for Boston & Cambridge deliveries. This position consisist of about 4 - 5 hours each morning on the road. Once deliveries are complete, FOR THOSE CANDIDATES SEEKING A FULL TIME POSITION, hours are available to work with the food preparation production team.. FOR CANDIDATES SEEKING A PART TIME POSITION, the shift would end once the deliveries are done, van is clean & ready for the next day. We will adapt this position for the right candidate who proves to be a match for our team.
Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport sandwiches, fresh & frozen appetizers & desserts.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Load and unload delivery items efficiently while maintaining product integrity.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel usage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor regarding order details and special requests.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Assist with inventory management as needed.
• Qualifications
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to read invoices ( in English)
• Must be able to drive & back up into loading docks with large refrigerated vans
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact positively with customers.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is preferred.
• Good Communication skills ( phone & text)
