Delivery Driver

Join Northern Sales Company, a business with more than 60 years of experience, as a full-time Delivery Driver / Merchandiser in Fairbanks, AK 99701. Help deliver customer orders, keep store shelves and displays stocked, and support warehouse operations. The typical schedule is 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., or until duties are completed. Hours may vary based on company and customer needs, and overtime may be required. Northern Sales Company focuses on improving its processes and helping employees reach their goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivering customer orders and check in products with each customers receiver.
• Stock and merchandise store shelves, coolers, and displays; rotate products and remove unsellable items.
• Organize backstock and maintain clean work areas.
• Assist with sorting and staging orders for next-day delivery in a dry warehouse environment as needed.
• Use a forklift to unload incoming and/or outgoing freight.
• Report order discrepancies and damaged merchandise to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
• Complete required paperwork, including bills of lading, invoices, and credits or returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current drivers license and ability to provide a current Motor Vehicle Record.
• At least 23 years old due to insurance requirements.
• Valid DOT physical or ability to obtain one.
• Reliable transportation and consistent, on-time attendance.
• Dependability and sound judgment.
• Two years of delivery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of non-CDL box truck operation and applicable federal, state, and local driving regulations preferred; willingness to learn is welcome.

Compensation

Starting pay: $23.00 per hour.
