Delivery Driver

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, experienced and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for a confident driver with previous experience driving a 3.5-tonne Luton van and completing multi-drop deliveries safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Excellent time-management skills and the ability to communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and dispatch. The position requires availability to work Monday to Saturday and a proactive approach to delivering excellent customer service.

Duties

• Safely operate a 3.5-tonne Luton van to complete scheduled multi-drop deliveries.
• Load, unload and secure goods carefully to prevent damage during transportation.
• Plan and follow delivery routes efficiently using GPS and navigation systems.
• Complete multiple deliveries per shift while meeting scheduled time slots.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery progress, delays and any issues.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at every delivery location.
• Obtain delivery confirmations, signatures and any required paperwork.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow UK road traffic laws, safe driving practices and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all goods are accounted for.

Experience and requirements

• Previous experience driving a 3.5-tonne Luton van is essential.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is essential.
• Full, valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle, with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work Monday to Saturday.
• Speaking Polish is a huge plus, but not essential.
• Strong navigation, organisational and time-management skills.
• A reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
• Ability to handle goods safely and carry out manual loading and unloading where required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Pay: From £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 48.0 per week
