Duties

• Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Deliver products accurately to retail stores or client locations, following designated route schedules and optimizing driving routes for efficiency.
• Engage with customers professionally, providing excellent service while building strong client relationships through clear communication and friendly interactions.
• Manage merchandise merchandising tasks, including loading, unloading, and organizing deliveries to ensure proper presentation and inventory accuracy.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed, utilizing safe lifting techniques to handle packages or equipment efficiently without injury.
• Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and compliance records to ensure operational transparency and adherence to company policies.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging product knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or automobile transportation; retail store experience is a plus.
• Strong math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and route planning.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal reporting.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing commercial truck driving and safety standards.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently within tight schedules.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or DOT compliance preferred.
• Customer service orientation with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and client relationship building.

Pay: $24.66 - $29.70 per hour
