Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, such as a delivery van, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper heavy lifting techniques to prevent damage and injury.
• Communicate effectively with clients to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and build lasting relationships.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records to ensure operational efficiency.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles, preferably with retail store experience or merchandising background.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper procedures.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial truck driving standards.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in automobile transportation is a plus.
• Familiarity with route driving, upselling techniques, and customer relationship building is highly desirable.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
