Responsibilities

• Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Deliver goods promptly to retail stores, clients, and other designated locations while maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
• Conduct route driving with precision, optimizing delivery paths for efficiency and timeliness.
• Engage with customers professionally to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and build positive relationships.
• Assist with merchandising tasks at retail locations, including product placement and inventory management.
• Handle heavy lifting and automobile transportation tasks responsibly, ensuring safety at all times.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales outcomes.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on routes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial driving or route delivery roles; retail store experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of driving laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices.
• Basic math skills for handling pricing calculations and inventory counts.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries.
• Organizational skills to manage routes, schedules, and documentation accurately.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory depending on the vehicle type.
• Familiarity with merchandising, client communication, and sales techniques is advantageous.

Pay: $23.72 - $28.57 per hour
