The Role

As a Transfer Truck Driver, you'll keep our branches stocked and our customers supplied by moving product between the Kaysville warehouse and our other locations. You'll operate a straight truck (GVWR up to 26,000 lbs), load and unload freight, and help out in the warehouse between runs. This is a great fit for a dependable driver who wants steady part-time hours and a team that values safety.

What You'll Do

• Drive scheduled transfer routes between the Kaysville warehouse and other LINC branches
• Load, secure and unload product, including palletized freight
• Operate a forklift safely to load and unload the truck and stage freight in the warehouse
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
• Verify transfer paperwork and shipments for accuracy
• Keep the truck clean, organized and in safe working condition
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed

What You'll Need

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Current DOT medical card (required to operate a vehicle with a GVWR of 26,000 lbs). No CDL required.
• Willingness to become forklift certified (LINC provides training)
• Ability to lift up to [50] lbs and work on your feet in a warehouse setting
• Reliable, punctual and safety-minded
• Must be at least [21] years old

Nice to Have

• Previous box truck or straight truck experience
• Forklift experience or current certification
• Familiarity with Northern Utah routes
• Bilingual English/Spanish
