Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, to deliver products to retail stores and client locations.
• Plan efficient routes using route driving skills to maximize delivery speed and accuracy.
• Load, unload, and secure merchandise carefully, practicing safe lifting techniques for heavy items.
• Engage with customers professionally, answer questions, and build positive relationships to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, leveraging sales skills to increase revenue opportunities.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and adhere to safe driving practices at all times.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations to ensure safe and compliant deliveries.
• Basic math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and inventory counts.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
• Ability to lift heavy packages safely while following proper lifting practices.
• Previous retail store experience or merchandising background is a plus for understanding product placement and presentation.
• Organizational skills to manage schedules efficiently and keep accurate records of deliveries.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
