Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Delivery Driver with a valid DOT (Department of Transportation) certification to join our team. Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks, commercial trucks, or personal vehicles to deliver goods to customers and clients.
• Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices.
• Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation using mobile devices or other digital tools.

Qualifications

• Valid DOT (Department of Transportation) certification required.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations involving material handling.
• Experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely in accordance with workplace weight handling standards.
• Knowledge of traffic regulations, route driving, and safe driving practices.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks is preferred.
• Reliable personal vehicle for delivery purposes is advantageous but not mandatory if operating company vehicles.
