Delivery Driver - FedEx Ground ISP Contractor

Job Overview

Job Summary
We are an independent service provider for FedEx Ground delivering and picking up packages throughout the Houston area. We are currently expanding our team and hiring reliable, full-time Delivery Drivers out of the Baytown, TX terminal location.If you are a high-energy, detail-oriented individual who enjoys a fast-paced work environment, we want to hear from you. No prior FedEx experience is required—paid training is available.Salary & Benefits

• Weekly Pay: $800 to $950 per week, depending on a 5 or 6-day schedule.
• Bonus Pay: Additional performance-based pay per stop earned after hitting a weekly threshold.
• Paid Training: Available at $15.00/hour for candidates without previous FedEx delivery experience (typically 5-7 days).

Daily Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle (minimum 16-foot box truck or larger).
• Manage an average daily route workload of 110 to 120 stops per day (smaller and larger routes are also available).
• Load, organize, and unload packages efficiently to meet tight delivery deadlines.
• Provide exceptional customer service during daily deliveries and pickups.
• Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid Class C Driver’s License (No CDL required).
• Must pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, drug screening, and a DOT physical exam.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry packages up to 150 lbs, including navigating up and down stairs.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and customer service skills.

Experience Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following verifiable commercial driving history criteria:

• 1 year of commercial driving experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 5 years of commercial driving experience within the past 10 years, OR
• 6 months of commercial driving experience within the past 3 years combined with successful completion of an approved vendor driving school.

Pay: $800.00 - $950.00 per week
