Atlas Route Inc. is hiring immediately for tough, reliable drivers ready to hit the road out of our Ooltewah, TN terminal, serving the Chattanooga area and Southeast Tennessee. This is a FedEx 2.0 terminal, meaning drivers will also handle FedEx Express packages in addition to Ground - because of this, drivers must pass a Security Threat Assessment (STA) application as part of onboarding. This is a direct hire position - not seasonal, not a temp job. If you can handle 50 lbs. solo (150 lbs. with a dolly) and want steady hours, weekly pay, and a real shot at growth, we want you on our team.

The Job:

• Load and inspect your assigned vehicle before each shift

• Run your route, delivering and picking up packages safely and on time

• Handle packages of varying sizes and weights with care

• Navigate timed delivery and pickup windows, staying on schedule throughout your route

• Use GPS and a handheld scanner to navigate and confirm deliveries

• Wrap up your day back at the Ooltewah terminal

Hours: 8:30 AM-Delivery Completion

Requirements:

Because this is a DOT-qualified position, drivers must:

• Be at least 21 years old

• Hold a valid driver's license with a clean MVR

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and remain subject to random testing

• Complete a GCIC background authorization form and pass a background check

• Pass a Security Threat Assessment (STA) application, required for this FedEx 2.0 terminal handling FedEx Express packages

• Be comfortable working timed delivery and pickup windows

Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus, and military veterans are welcome to apply!

Pay: $150.00 - $170.00 per day
