Delivery Driver / Helper

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Driving & Vehicle Safety

• Drive company delivery vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Practice safe and defensive driving at all times.
• Follow traffic laws and road safety regulations.
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.

Delivery & Product Handling

• Assist in loading, unloading, and arranging products safely.
• Deliver goods and documents to assigned customers and locations.
• Verify delivery addresses, items, and quantities before completing deliveries.
• Ensure proper handling and protection of products during transit.
• Complete delivery receipts, documents, and other required records accurately.

Customer Service

• Deal with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Handle delivery concerns, signatures, and basic customer inquiries properly.
• Represent the company positively during customer interactions.

Physical & Operational Support

• Assist with lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading products.
• Follow proper lifting techniques and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain focus and alertness during long driving and delivery hours.
• Provide support to the warehouse or operations team when needed.

Communication & Coordination

• Communicate clearly with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members.
• Immediately report delivery delays, customer concerns, accidents, or vehicle problems.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Responsibility & Reliability

• Be punctual, dependable, and responsible at all times.
• Take proper care of the company vehicle, products, documents, and equipment.
• Handle cash-on-delivery collections responsibly, when applicable.
• Maintain honesty and integrity in all transactions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• With a valid Professional Driver’s License.
• Previous experience as a Driver, Delivery Driver, Driver/Helper, or similar role is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Metro Manila/Cavite routes is an advantage.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and road safety practices.
• Able to operate delivery vehicles such as motorcycles, vans, or trucks, depending on assignment.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry products.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced food distribution environment.
• Reliable, hardworking, and a good team player.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
