Experienced Driver Helper – Appliance Delivery

$8 per completed stop | Paid every two weeks | 6:00 a.m. start

Brown & Harris Transport LLC is hiring a reliable, experienced Driver Helper for local appliance deliveries under our RXO contract. You will ride with the driver and assist with loading, unloading, and safely delivering appliances into customers’ homes.

Pay and Earning Potential

$8 per completed stop.

Approximately 17–20 stops daily, depending on the route.

Estimated daily earnings: $136–$160 at 17–20 completed stops.

Estimated biweekly earnings: $1,904–$2,240 if working all 14 days.

Potential annual gross earnings: $49,368–$58,080 if working seven days weekly, with Thanksgiving and Christmas off—363 working days.

Pay is issued every two weeks.

Earnings are estimates before taxes and are not guaranteed. Actual pay depends on completed stops and days worked.

Schedule

Start time: 6:00 a.m.

Typical shifts last approximately 8–10 hours, depending on the route and delivery volume.

Delivery operations run seven days a week.

Weekend availability required; individual schedules discussed during hiring.

Thanksgiving and Christmas off.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading, securing, and unloading appliances.

Safely move appliances through doorways, stairs, and tight spaces using appropriate equipment and team lifting.

Assist with appliance placement and removal of old units as assigned.

Protect customers’ floors, walls, doorways, and belongings.

Inspect items for visible damage and promptly report delivery issues.

Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent service.

Follow company and RXO delivery and safety procedures.

Keep the truck, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

Previous appliance delivery, furniture delivery, or professional moving experience required.

Experience using appliance dollies, straps, and safe lifting techniques.

Ability to repeatedly lift and move heavy items with a teammate and appropriate equipment.

Comfortable working on your feet, using stairs, and working in varying weather conditions.

Reliable transportation to the designated reporting location.

Dependable, punctual, and ready to start at 6:00 a.m.

Must meet required background screening and onboarding requirements.
