Delivery Driver helper/Warehouse

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring timely and efficient service. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work collaboratively with delivery drivers.

Duties

• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring that all items are secured for transport.
• Assist in the organization of packages within the warehouse and during deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks to move heavy items safely.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment.
• Support delivery drivers by navigating routes and ensuring timely arrivals at destinations.
• Handle returns and exchanges as needed, ensuring proper documentation is completed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with operating delivery vehicles such as box trucks or vans is a plus.
• Experience with loading/unloading procedures and using equipment like pallet jacks is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on specific job duties related to driving or assisting drivers.
