Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Retail Distribution Center Delivery Driver to work on a contract basis. This role involves operating a delivery vehicle to transport goods between distribution centers and retail locations. Candidates must adhere to safety protocols while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate delivery vehicles to transport merchandise from distribution centers to designated retail locations.

• Load and unload products while maintaining proper handling procedures to prevent damage.

• Verify delivery paperwork, including manifests and invoices, to ensure accuracy before and after each route.

• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies during transit and at delivery sites.

• Report any vehicle issues, delays, or delivery discrepancies to dispatch immediately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

• Prior experience operating delivery vehicles in a distribution or retail environment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and physically handle merchandise during loading/unloading.

• Strong time management skills to meet scheduled delivery windows consistently.

• Basic math skills for verifying shipment quantities and completing delivery documentation.
