Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate

Thomas Restaurant Equipment is a small, family-owned commercial restaurant equipment company based in Charlotte, NC. We are looking for a dependable Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to support customer deliveries and day-to-day warehouse operations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is dependable and willing to help wherever needed in a small-business environment.

• Deliver commercial restaurant equipment to customers and job sites.
• Safely load, secure, transport, unload, and help move equipment into the proper delivery location.
• Verify equipment and quantities against delivery paperwork; obtain customer signatures and document any delivery issues.
• Pick up equipment from vendors or customer locations when needed.
• Receive incoming freight and equipment; inspect shipments for visible damage.
• Assist with recording model and serial numbers.
• Stage and organize equipment for upcoming jobs and deliveries.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized; load and unload trucks and trailers.
• Assist with general warehouse and operational tasks as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.

NO RESTAURANT EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We are willing to train the right person.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable driving throughout the Charlotte area and surrounding region.
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work and safely handling heavy commercial equipment using proper equipment and team assistance.
• Professional when interacting with customers.
• Organized and able to follow delivery paperwork accurately.
• Willing to help with warehouse work when not making deliveries.
• Comfortable driving a pickup truck and trailer.
• Previous delivery, warehouse, moving, appliance delivery, furniture delivery, construction supply, or similar experience is helpful but not required.

SCHEDULE

Full-time, Monday through Friday. Most work will take place during normal business hours, although some deliveries may require earlier start times or longer days depending on location and job schedule.

We are a family business, so reliability and attitude matter. We are looking for someone who can eventually take ownership of deliveries and warehouse responsibilities and become a dependable part of the team.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
