Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vans and commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes.
• Load and unload items with care, often requiring heavy lifting and warehouse experience.
• Follow planned delivery schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, answer questions, and provide friendly service.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately, including logs and delivery confirmation forms.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal safety and performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle to promote safety and professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving commercial driving.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving vans or heavy vehicles preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with customers and team members.
• Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory handling procedures.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety protocols, and route planning strategies.

Pay: £130.00-£250.00 per day
