Duties

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles while pulling a trailer, adhering strictly to all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices.
• Deliver products to customers’ locations promptly, maintaining professionalism and providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction.
• Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting shipments, completing necessary documentation, and ensuring all items are accounted for during loading and unloading processes.
• Move stock within the warehouse using manual handling equipment, organize inventory efficiently, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Follow route schedules diligently using mobile devices for navigation and communication, optimizing delivery efficiency while adhering to traffic laws.
• Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and supporting team members in moving heavy items safely.

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or courier services with a focus on safe manual handling practices.
• Ability to operate commercial trucks while pulling a 20' trailer and use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Strong knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance requirements.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and resolve issues effectively.
• Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, moving items safely, and performing manual tasks over extended periods.
• Familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and documentation purposes.
• Experience in warehouse operations including load & unload procedures, material handling equipment operation, and maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
