Delivery Driver/Warehouse

Gower's Feed is looking for a Delivery Driver and warehouse assistant to join our team. As the only locally owned Pet and Animal Food Stores in Jefferson County, we are looking for someone that will be responsible for loading our delivery truck in a safe manner, transporting the product to our customers locations within 20 miles of Ranson, WV, and unloading and rotating products at the customers locations. The delivery driver is also responsible for keeping the truck clean and tracking mileage and maintenance requirements. There will also be times you will be assisting in the warehouse which may include, but not limited to: loading product into customers vehicles, unloading supplier delivery trucks, moving and stacking product in our warehouse and assist stocking shelves in our retail store. Knowledge of the Jefferson County and surrounding areas is a plus but we will train the right candidate. Knowledge of animal and pet care and nutrition is a plus but not necessary. All candidates must be able to lift, move and stack up to 50 lbs repetitively, and must be able to stand, lift, stack and assist customers for up to a 10 hour shift. As a driver, a clean driving record and passing a pre-employment and/or random drug and/or alcohol test is required. Our delivery truck is CDL exempt and medical card exempt.
