Responsibilities

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Load, unload, and organize materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Execute timely deliveries to customers’ locations using route driving best practices, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
• Assist with warehouse operations by moving inventory, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
• Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update route information, and communicate with team members effectively.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and addressing customer inquiries courteously.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse support role with knowledge of delivery driving procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial trucks is highly preferred.
• Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles; familiarity with manual handling and heavy lifting practices.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks and moving carts.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices in the workplace.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication purposes.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
