Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to deliver products to customers’ locations, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
• Load, unload, and organize goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices
• Manage inventory by accurately receiving shipments, verifying deliveries, and maintaining organized warehouse storage
• Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update delivery statuses, and communicate with team members in real-time
• Assist with warehouse operations including moving stock within the facility, stacking pallets, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
• Load and unload trucks efficiently while following safe manual handling procedures for heavy or bulky items
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions by being professional, courteous, and responsive to client needs

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services with a focus on route driving and customer interaction
• Strong warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks and moving heavy loads safely
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to operate a box truck or van with manual transmission proficiency preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards
• Excellent driving skills with adherence to traffic regulations and safety protocols at all times
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and providing outstanding customer service

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
