Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations while also supporting warehouse operations through manual handling, loading, and unloading shipments. Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Transport goods to designated locations, ensuring accurate delivery and proper handling of items, including heavy or bulky products.
• Assist with warehouse operations by moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Use mobile devices or delivery apps to manage routes, update delivery statuses, and communicate with team members effectively.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safe operation; report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing questions or concerns as needed.

Experience

• Prior experience in delivery driving or courier services is highly preferred, especially with box trucks or commercial vehicles.
• Demonstrated warehouse experience involving manual handling, moving heavy loads, and operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with driving regulations for commercial trucks and personal vehicles, including adherence to DOT regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Proven ability to load & unload shipments efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
• Experience with route driving using mobile devices or GPS systems to optimize delivery schedules.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items regularly throughout the shift.
• Strong customer service skills combined with a safety-conscious attitude toward driving and warehouse operations.

Pay: $15.92 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 32.0 per week

Work Location: In person
