Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver goods to various locations according to planned routes
• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of all items
• Verify delivery addresses, check orders for accuracy, and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by moving inventory, stacking pallets, and managing stock levels efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols during driving, loading, and unloading activities to prevent accidents or damage
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock counting, labeling, and organizing storage areas

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver with a focus on route driving and customer service excellence
• Strong warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, moving heavy items, and operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various environments
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and courier or driver roles is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
• Knowledge of safety standards related to driving, lifting, and warehouse operations
