Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to deliver goods to customers across designated routes.
• Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Ensure accurate order fulfillment by verifying delivery details and maintaining proper documentation.
• Follow all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) guidelines during route driving to ensure safety and compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering products professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns courteously.
• Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, moving stock within the facility, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
• Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update logs, and communicate effectively with team members throughout your shift.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker with knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling.
• Valid driver’s license with experience driving commercial vehicles such as box trucks or vans; commercial truck driving experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and manual handling equipment like pallet jacks safely.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting, moving items safely, and performing manual tasks throughout your shift.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication purposes.
• Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols including safe lifting practices and proper use of material handling equipment.
