Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role combines the excitement of delivering goods directly to customers with the essential responsibilities of warehouse operations. You will be responsible for safely transporting products using various types of vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Your work will support our commitment to providing seamless service and maintaining efficient warehouse processes. Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to transport goods to customer locations and warehouse sites
• Load and unload products using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, complying with all traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements
• Verify delivery orders, complete necessary documentation, and obtain customer signatures upon receipt of goods
• Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, stock replenishment, and moving items within the facility
• Use mobile devices or handheld scanners to track deliveries, update logs, and communicate with team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed during all manual handling activities

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker with knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures
• Familiarity with commercial driving, including operating box trucks, vans, or trucks with manual transmissions
• Strong understanding of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and weight handling in the workplace
• Ability to adhere strictly to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety standards during driving and loading activities
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions during deliveries
• Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or moving carts is preferred
• Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery tracking, and communication purposes
