Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or personal vehicle to pick up and deliver goods to customers’ locations, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
• Load, unload, and move products using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts
• Ensure accurate order fulfillment by verifying items against delivery manifests and maintaining proper documentation
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with the office during deliveries, addressing questions or concerns courteously
• Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and recording delivery confirmations
• Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items to prevent injury and ensure workplace safety

Requirements

• Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations with a focus on manual handling and moving goods
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating commercial trucks or vans; proficiency with manual transmission is preferred
• Ability to safely lift heavy loads regularly while adhering to safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines in the workplace
• Familiarity with route driving, traffic regulations, and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards for commercial vehicle operation
• Experience using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and fork lifts
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally during deliveries
• Physical stamina for manual labor tasks including lifting, moving, loading, and unloading items throughout shifts

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
