Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Delivery Executive to ensure the timely and secure transport of goods from our distribution center to our customers. In this role, you will be the face of Mangalam Traders to our clients, requiring excellent time management, careful handling of packages, and professional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Route Planning & Navigation: Review daily delivery schedules and plan the most efficient routes using GPS and local area knowledge to ensure timely deliveries.
• Order Verification: Inspect and verify items against delivery manifests before loading to ensure order accuracy and prevent missing items.
• Safe Transportation: Safely operate and maintain the delivery vehicle (two-wheeler or cargo vehicle), adhering strictly to all local traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Customer Interaction: Deliver packages directly to customers, maintaining a polite, professional, and helpful demeanor at all times.
• Payment Collection: Handle Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions accurately, process digital payments (UPI), and return collected funds and receipts to the office daily.
• Log Maintenance: Update delivery statuses in real-time, report any delivery issues, and maintain daily logs of dispatch and completion times.
• Vehicle Upkeep: Perform basic daily maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle (tire pressure, fuel levels, brakes) and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensing: Valid two-wheeler driving license with a clean driving record.
• Experience: Prior experience in logistics, delivery, or FMCG distribution is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with local roads, neighborhoods, and alternative routes to navigate efficiently.
• Technology: Ownership of a reliable smartphone with an active data plan and proficiency in using GPS navigation apps.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, carry, and load heavy packages safely and work efficiently across various weather conditions.
• Language Skills: Ability to communicate clearly in local languages (Hindi, or Marathi) and basic English to interact with customers and read delivery instructions.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
