Snackit manages vending machines throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Central Coast for businesses including corporate offices, healthcare facilities, warehouses, logistics companies, apartments, and schools.

We need reliable technicians to deliver products, maintain machines, and keep customer locations well-stocked.

We provide training, company vehicles, and equipment so you can do the job effectively. The Role We're hiring Vending Machine Service Technicians to manage delivery and maintenance routes in the Bay Area.

You'll work with a company van to deliver products, restock machines, and maintain equipment across 15–18 customer locations per day. The work is straightforward and physical—show up, execute your route accurately, and get the job done efficiently.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

• Load and unload your company van with products and equipment
• Service 15–18 customer locations (15-minute to 1-hour stops)
• Restock machines with inventory and monitor stock levels
• Use iPad/phone app for inventory and customer notes
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on machines
• Check expiration dates and rotate stock
• Return to base at end of shift

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Route Management:

• Setup, transport, and load/unload vending machines and products
• Manage 15–18 daily deliveries across a diverse service territory (South Bay, Peninsula, East Bay, occasional Watsonville runs)
• Restock machines according to inventory levels and customer demand
• Perform cycle counts and rotate inventory, checking expiration dates
• Maintain accurate delivery and inventory records using our app-based system

Machine Maintenance & Technical Support:

• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs
• Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions promptly
• Use iPad/phone app to manage simple machine programming (pricing, product placement, inventory)
• Minimize machine downtime to maintain customer satisfaction

Customer Relations & Growth:

• Interact professionally with on-site managers, employees, and facility staff
• Address customer concerns and requests promptly
• Gather feedback and suggest products that boost machine sales and client revenue
• Identify and report upsell opportunities to management
• Maintain excellent customer service—your performance directly impacts your pay and earning potential

Safety & Compliance:

• Complete comprehensive ergonomics, lifting, and defensive driving training
• Strict adherence to all city, county, state, and federal regulations
• Follow all company safety protocols during delivery, maintenance, and vehicle operation
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs promptly
• Assist with inventory management and escalate usage trends to management

Additional Responsibilities (as needed):

• Warehouse pre-kitting and machine setup as business demands—not a primary responsibility but part of supporting the team

Requirements

Experience:

• Prior delivery, customer service, or vending machine experience is a plus, but not required—we provide comprehensive training

Essential Qualities:

• Reliable and punctual
• Accurate and detail-oriented (critical for inventory and tracking)
• Efficient at managing your time and getting through your route
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Works well with team members and can cover shifts when needed
• Basic mechanical sense and ability to troubleshoot simple issues
• Comfortable with iPad/phone apps for inventory and order entry

Legal & Physical Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record (mandatory)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and bend/perform repetitive motions
• Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday–Friday
• Preferred early mornings; occasional evenings as business demands
• Reliable transportation to/from Hayward base location during training

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
