ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for energetic and reliable Delivery Helpers to join our growing team! This is a fast-paced position perfect for someone who enjoys staying active and takes pride in customer service. As a Furniture & Mattress Delivery Helper, you'll be part of the backbone of our delivery operations, ensuring our customers receive their premium products—mattresses, sofas, bedroom and dining room furniture—safely and on time. Every delivery is an opportunity to represent our company and build customer loyalty.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carefully load, transport, and unload heavy furniture and mattresses from delivery trucks
• Use proper lifting techniques and equipment (dollies, straps, furniture pads) to protect items and prevent injury
• Navigate furniture safely through doorways, hallways, and stairways—including multi-story homes
• Place furniture in customer-specified rooms and position items as requested
• Inspect items for damage before delivery and communicate any issues immediately
• Protect customer flooring and walls using blankets, pads, and other protective materials
• Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and handle concerns with courtesy
• Verify delivery addresses and customer information for accuracy
• Communicate promptly with dispatch about delivery status, delays, or customer feedback
• Maintain truck organization and cleanliness between deliveries
• Help with basic furniture assembly or adjustments when needed (depending on training)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Reliable and punctual - we count on you to show up ready to work (no-shows impact our customers and team)
• Strong physical fitness - this role regularly involves lifting 50-100+ lbs, carrying, and moving heavy items
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy furniture safely and correctly
• Comfort working in customers' homes and respect for their property
• Strong customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude—you're often the face of our company
• Ability to work effectively as part of a delivery team
• Attention to detail and unwavering focus on safety (yours and the customer's)
• Willingness to learn proper furniture handling and safety techniques
• Problem-solving skills - navigating tight spaces, stairs, and layout challenges
• Flexibility with scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, and possible weekends
• No fear of heights (accessing upper-floor apartments, lofts, etc.)
