Delivery Helper

Job Overview

Drummond Freight Carriers, LLC. is looking for a dependable Delivery Helper to support daily freight, delivery, and transportation operations. You’ll assist drivers and warehouse teams with loading, unloading, organizing, and delivering freight while helping ensure shipments are handled safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading freight, packages, and equipment
• Help drivers prepare shipments for pickups and deliveries
• Organize, label, and secure freight for transportation
• Assist with deliveries and communicate professionally with customers
• Check shipments for accuracy and report damaged or missing items
• Maintain clean and organized loading and delivery areas
• Follow company procedures, DOT requirements, and safety guidelines
• Support warehouse and transportation teams with daily operational tasks

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, delivery, freight, or logistics experience is a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of handling freight
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
• Ability to lift and move items as required
