Key responsibilities
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the delivery vehicle
- Check and verify items against delivery receipts, invoices, and other documents
- Ensure that products are handled properly and delivered in good condition
- Assist in delivering goods to customers according to the assigned schedule and route
- Help secure and organize items inside the delivery vehicle to prevent damage during transit
- Assist customers in receiving and checking delivered items
- Obtain customer signatures and other required proof of delivery
- Report damaged, missing, incorrect, or undelivered items to the driver or supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the delivery vehicle and work area
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and proper handling guidelines
