Head of Systems – Roles & Responsibilities (HTIC Global)

1. Technology Strategy & Business Alignment

• Define and execute the Systems roadmap aligned with HTIC's business objectives.
• Drive digital transformation and business process automation across all group companies.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology.

2. ERP & Business Applications

• Own the implementation, enhancement, and governance of Odoo ERP across all business divisions.
• Standardize business processes while accommodating division-specific requirements.
• Ensure ERP solutions support Finance, HR, CRM, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, and other business functions.
• Review and approve functional requirements and solution designs.

3. Project & Delivery Governance

• Establish project governance, delivery standards, and implementation methodologies.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, and quality.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects through structured planning and stakeholder engagement.
• Review project health and take corrective actions where required.

4. Business Process Automation & AI

• Lead AI and automation initiatives to improve productivity and customer experience.
• Identify repetitive manual processes suitable for automation.
• Promote the adoption of intelligent workflows and data-driven decision-making.

5. Systems Governance & Quality

• Define development standards, documentation standards, testing processes, and change management procedures.
• Ensure proper requirement gathering, UAT, and sign-off before production deployment.
• Establish governance for change requests and release management.

6. Vendor & Partner Management

• Manage relationships with implementation partners and technology vendors.
• Review project deliverables, service quality, and contractual commitments.
• Ensure vendor accountability for timelines, quality, and support.

7. Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the Systems team, including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, Developers, QA Engineers, and AI specialists.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Identify skill gaps and drive capability development.

8. Stakeholder Management

• Partner with business leaders to understand operational challenges and technology needs.
• Present project status, risks, and recommendations to executive management.
• Act as the primary bridge between business functions and the Systems team.

9. Budget & Resource Management

• Plan and manage the Systems department budget.
• Optimize resource allocation across multiple projects.
• Monitor software licensing, implementation costs, and vendor expenditures to maximize business value.

10. Performance Management & Continuous Improvement

• Define KPIs for project delivery, system adoption, quality, and business benefits.
• Monitor user feedback and identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous process enhancement.
