Delivery Manager - Data

We're seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to play a key role in a large-scale technology transformation programme. This position offers the opportunity to lead a critical data workstream, ensuring successful delivery while working closely with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and programme stakeholders.

About the Role

As Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, coordination, and execution of a significant data programme. You'll ensure delivery objectives are achieved while maintaining control of timelines, budgets, risks, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.

The role sits within a broader transformation programme and will focus heavily on the delivery of key data activities, including migration, data quality improvements, reporting capabilities, and data platform initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex data workstream within a wider transformation programme
• Develop and maintain delivery plans, ensuring key milestones, dependencies, and resources are effectively managed
• Monitor programme progress and provide clear, accurate reporting to senior stakeholders
• Establish and maintain robust governance, delivery controls, risk management, and assurance processes
• Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks, escalating issues where required
• Drive resolution of challenges impacting delivery outcomes
• Build strong working relationships across business and technology teams
• Coordinate with implementation partners and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery
• Facilitate effective communication and engagement across a broad stakeholder group
• Contribute to programme reviews, assurance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience leading the delivery of large-scale technology or business transformation programmes
• Strong background in project management of data migration, data transformation, or enterprise data initiatives
• Sound understanding of data quality, governance practices, reporting, and analytics environments
• Demonstrated success managing both technical and business stakeholders within complex delivery landscapes
• Experience identifying and managing risks associated with data readiness, migration, and operational change
• Excellent planning, governance, financial management, and reporting skills
• Strong vendor and third-party supplier management experience
• Ability to influence stakeholders, build consensus, and drive outcomes
• Familiarity with structured project and programme delivery frameworks
