Delivery Officer / Executive

About the role

A Delivery Officer/Executive role providing administrative support to management and the organization, with responsibility for all aspects of scheduling delivery, logistics coordination, and customer relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide all administrative support to management and organization.
• Co-ordinate and execute work and other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
• Responsible for all aspects of scheduling delivery.
• Preparation of shipping documents, liaise with forwarder and other related duties.
• Co-ordinate closely with production planner on delivery schedule to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track and analyze key logistics metrics such as delivery times, transportation costs and inventory levels.
• Check orders, items received, inventory and deliveries for accuracy.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams- sales team, stock and warehouse to resolve any order related issues.
• Contact customer/job site on arrival of goods.
• Liaise and maintain good customer relationship.
• Responsible customer enquiries, follow-up calls, email, walk in customer for product own collection.
• Handle delivery issues and customer complaints and work to solve them.
• Reports all damaged or defective materials or questionable conditions to the Manager.

About you

• Possess at least SPM level or Diploma
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field or logistic/supply chain management
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
