Delivery Operations Coordinator

Tim-Br-Fab Industries, a COR certified 100% Canadian owned manufacturer of roof and floor trusses and supplier of pre-engineered wood products in Dauphin MB.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Delivery Operations Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, deliveries are scheduled efficiently, and fleet compliance requirements are maintained.

The successful candidate will coordinate daily delivery activities, manage Electronic Logging Device (ELD) requirements, communicate with drivers and customers, and support sales and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service and on-time delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

Order Processing

• Enter, review, and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with sales, yard, design and production teams to ensure order readiness.
• Verify product availability and delivery requirements.
• Assist customers with order status updates and delivery inquiries.
• Resolve order discrepancies and communicate changes as required.

Delivery Coordination & Dispatch

• Schedule and coordinate daily deliveries for company trucks and 3rd party carriers
• Optimize delivery routes and truck utilization.
• Work closely with drivers to manage changing schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor delivery progress and address service issues proactively.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.

Fleet Compliance & ELD Administration

• Monitor and maintain Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and compliance.
• Assist drivers with ELD troubleshooting and usage requirements.
• Review hours-of-service information and identify potential compliance concerns.
• Maintain transportation and regulatory documentation.
• Support fleet safety and transportation compliance programs.

Communication & Customer Service

• Serve as a primary point of contact for delivery scheduling and logistics inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, sales staff, and operational teams.
• Build strong working relationships while delivering exceptional service.
• Handle concerns professionally and work toward timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transportation, dispatch, logistics, order processing, or customer service.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ELD systems, transportation software, or dispatching is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of the building materials industry is an asset.
