Delivery Operations Officer

About the role

This role involves assigning deliveries to drivers in the system via direct calling, managing and coordinating delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of parcels to customers, and handling selected key customer accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Assign deliveries to drivers in the system via direct calling

• Manage and coordinate delivery drivers, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of parcels to customers

• Account management for key customers, handle escalations and queries

• Looking for subcontractors to deliver for your accounts

• Monitor delivery performance metrics and identify areas for improvement to optimize operational efficiency

• Implement and oversee delivery route planning and scheduling to maximise productivity and reduce costs

• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the overall delivery experience

• Provide training and support to delivery personnel to maintain high standards of service

• Monitor the fulfillment team in ensuring they meet their KPI objectives

• Assist manager in executing daily operations to achieve monthly and quarterly KPI and business results

• Assist management in implementing new strategic initiatives and contribute ideas for scaling up operations
