We are looking for safety-focused, dependable team members who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of something bigger than themselves. As a Geiger Delivery Professional, you'll operate ready-mix equipment, serve as the face of our company at jobsites, and work alongside a team committed to safety, quality, and outstanding customer service. The role combines skilled truck operation, problem solving, customer interaction, and teamwork in a fast-moving construction environment.

• Competitive hourly pay of $24-$40 depending on experience
• Competitive health and retirement benefits
• Performance-based incentive opportunities
• Local deliveries throughout the Kansas City area (home each night)
• Stable work with a well-established, family-owned company
• A team-oriented culture built on safety, respect, and continuous improvement
• Opportunities to learn, grow, and advance your career

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air brake endorsement and no manual transmission restriction; pre-qualified candidates may be able to obtain required licensure through Geiger’s sponsored CDL training program
• Ability to pass and maintain a DOT physical and regular drug screening
• Safe driving record that meets federal and state motor carrier requirements
• Ability to work safely in changing weather and construction environments
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and teammates
• Ability to maintain a professional, respectful attitude in fast-paced or stressful situations

Strong consideration given to candidates with prior ready-mix, construction or heavy equipment experience and mechanical aptitude.

About The Schedule

Concrete is a time sensitive material and customer demand drives our schedule. As a result, start times may vary significantly, including occasional after-midnight starts. There are no guaranteed daily start or end times. Delivery Professionals must be willing and able to work varying daily schedules, early morning starts, overtime, Saturdays, and DOT-regulated hours as business demands require.

The pace can be demanding, but many of our drivers enjoy the variety, independence, team environment, and opportunity to increase their earnings through overtime and performance incentives.

Who Thrives In This Role

Successful Delivery Professionals are:

• Safety-minded in everything they do
• Dependable and committed to showing up for their team
• Comfortable working independently while staying connected with dispatch and operations
• Adaptable when customer schedules or weather conditions change
• Customer-focused and professional on every jobsite and in stressful situations
• Team players who are willing to help wherever needed

If you like staying busy, working outdoors, and seeing the results of your efforts throughout the community, this can be an extremely rewarding career
